Im not Catholic or even interested in worshipping a deity. But many people are, and in an emergency I can see the help this would be to someone who is. Ill be glad to have it available to offer on an appropriate occasion. Like many other apps, I anticipate that having it will lead to using it at opportunities I cant even foresee right now. Plus it really is nicely made and would make a thoughtful gift.

Does not offer liturgy of the hour as described in title.

These are traditional and wonderful Catholic prayers but the word " Breviary" in Catholic tradition refers specifically to the Liturgy of the Hours. That is an ancient tradition that dates back to the Apostles, and which was codified into a (formal) Liturgy in the fourth century. So this app is not a Breviary!

Not only is this app good for the soul, but its one of the most aesthetically pleasing apps for the iPhone 5. Prayers are organized very well, and you also have the option to edit the names for quick reference. Adding favorites is a great option and makes it extremely easy to create a list of prayers for personal devotions. The Rosary is designed very intelligently, and makes it easy to start where I left off. Another great feature is the option to switch amongst different languages. Overall Im glad I decided to purchase this app over downloading a bunch of free apps that arent as organized or as beautiful. IMO a must have for Catholics. Im hoping the creator/s of this app can bring more Catholic oriented apps in the future. God Bless.

This app has everything you need. I go here first before anywhere else.

It is a prayer book not a breviary. I bought it because it said breviary and was surprised not to see the Liturgy of the hours. I had to delete it because I have all these other prayers.

What truly makes this app better than any other prayer app is that you can edit current prayers and add your own prayers as well. It comes with many prayers, but I personally love that I can add my own prayers. I also love that the prayers are arranged in alphabetical order and that you can change the titles. You can also add prayers to your favorites list to find them quickly and easily. This is by far the best app out there and I highly commend it to any one who enjoys keeping a prayer book on hand. *Note to designer: The only thing I would change about this app is the design of the graphics. it would be nice if I could customize the background of the paper that the text appears on and I would love to be able to change the color of the frame from red. I would love if I could change the main color of the program to a pretty pink and the background paper to an image from my iphoto. Also a choice of fronts would rock. Please take this idea into consideration. P.s: a choice of design from the front cover would be awesome too. Such giving us a choice between a traditional cross (as shown already), a crucifix, a Celtic cross, an image of the Virgin Mary or St.Michael, or some other design for the opening image. Custom design make apps more personal and more fun because we can always redesign it ourselves anytime. Just some helpful thoughts. Thanks for making such a wonderful program it has really helped my prayer life!
